Kabutocho Yoichi Night Market 2025 Recap
The Kabutocho Night Market lights up the evenings in Nihonbashi Kabutocho with a vibrant mix of experiences, spanning food, music, sports, and markets. Now in its fourth year, the event once again featured popular attractions such as bar-hopping, night markets, and a music festival. This year introduced a new theme of “Urban Sports,” adding running, yoga, pickleball, and other active programs to create a special three-day celebration of everything Kabutocho has to offer.
This year marked the debut of Kabutocho Night Market Urban Sports, where various sports events took place throughout the Kabutocho area. Many people gathered to enjoy the easily accessible programs, which included a run along the Sumida River while test-driving shoes from the sports brand On, music-accompanied yoga, and a chance to experience pickleball, the exciting new racket sport originating in the US.
As is tradition, the area was bustling with people using the Bar Hopping Ticket to explore the unique establishments in and around Kabutocho. A curated selection of menus was available, such as natural wine at Neki, frozen beer at Omnipollos Tokyo, and Arak Highballs at HOPPERS. This year also welcomed several new participating shops, making the lineup even more vibrant. Exclusive, must-try items included the mini waffle and drink set at CAFE DANCE, the Kabuto Highball at AKAI BAR, and a wine and dim sum pairing at CASICA KABUTOCHO. The new addition of Talk Shop, located inside Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo, and Shao Shao (勺勺) offered guests a new side of Kabutocho to explore.

This year’s Night Market was themed around Urban Sports, reflecting the growing presence of running clubs, tennis communities, and the incorporation of sports into everyday life. Numerous vendors offered items that seamlessly blend into a sports-focused lifestyle, such as functional yet stylish apparel and goods, as well as drinks and food perfect for post-exercise recovery. It was a valuable chance for visitors to find products from brands that do not usually have physical presence, and many were seen enjoying conversations with the staff at the booths.
