A diverse menu of dim sum, steamed dishes, and Taiwanese tea, alongside a shop featuring Asian furniture and tableware
Opened in 2025, CASICA KABUTOCHO is a new outpost by CASICA, which explores the concept of “visualizing lived time and space.” Centered on the theme “Tokyo within Asia,” it reinterprets cultures and lifestyles from across Asia, including Japan, offering a space where their depth and diversity can be experienced through both food and objects.
At the restaurant “Kashika Hanten,” the concept of “food traversing the continent” is expressed through a diverse menu of dim sum, steamed dishes, and small plates. Lunch features popular options such as medicinal curry and sets of vegetable buns and dim sum, while the café offers carefully selected teas including Taiwanese varieties. In the evening, more than 40 dishes are available alongside natural wines and Shaoxing wine.
The adjoining shop showcases furniture, tableware, and crafts rooted in daily life across Asia, offering opportunities to encounter unique, one-of-a-kind pieces imbued with the makers’ craftsmanship.
